I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room could use a facelift, but it was very roomy, and I appreciated the late check-out time. The service was exceptional, especially during a family emergency situation. The location was convenient for shopping and dining, but there was some disturbance from dogs outside my room. The dining experience was top-notch with a good variety of choices.

The hotel is situated near a shopping area on the outskirts of Charlottesville, offering views of the pool or road side. The rooms are very outdated, especially the TV, which is quite old. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating during a family emergency situation when a relative was admitted to UVA hospital.
